Food fuels our daily existence, but it also feeds our minds, and comforts our hearts. It is a complex language that speaks about connection and continuity, memory and love. It is what binds us together, as families, as communities, and as human beings.

So what is the meaning of food?  It is a part of everything that we do, as boundless and complex as humanity itself. An old saying goes, "the stomach is the center and origin of all civilization".
