Planet Hugger.
::: The Planet Hugger site is currently under construction.
++ Website Development, San Diego, CA, USA / Don Cook / Don's Digital Café
Welcome to our "Planet Hugger" information page. When finished, the Planet Hugger website will be devoted to kids. (Hey, kids are people too.) It's all about how important it is to "green" our planet, how kids can get involved and/or contribute, and most importantly how they can take care of their health, avoid obesity (and other degenerative diseases) so that they can live long enough to make an impact on our precious planet (if they want to). We will try our best to motivate them to "want to".
PLanet Hugger will be an absolutely fun social experience. It will be a site ("planet") were kids can interact, exchange ideas, share information, provide social support, direct (or get involved in) projects, create artistic media, play games, engage in discussions and endless other important and interesting things. We want it to be a life changing experience at a time in a child's life where "life changing experiences" actually change their life.
This site is being crafted by the talented "visual engineers" (designers, artists, illustrators, photographers, and writers) at Don's Digital Café, an ideal environment for the sometimes at-odds mingling of hi-tech know-how, creative talent, straight-laced big-business concerns, and other snake charmers hooked on quantitative reasoning and proven results.
Planet Hugger will feature 3D Illustrations and Animations from Julien Tromeur, based in Paris, France. He has done work for many companies (located all over our planet), including Peugeot and the Disney Channel. He uses Modo, Lightwave, 3ds MAX, Zbrush, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash, (and Maya for character animation). All of the same tools that Don Cook uses.
Things happen at Don's Digital Café that actually taste and smell great before they are released, and they migrate by osmosis through all kinds of processes that would not happen without the presence of the truly talented forces contained therein.
As we teeter on the glittering edge of a new economy, it appears that Don Cook's Digital Café will make the leap into a future ripe with new visions, inspirations and possibilities.
First, we need to start with great websites (pages filled with great content and graphics). We take this responsibility seriously, and appreciate your patience while we create something new, sophisticated and interesting.
It takes about three cups of coffee or espresso, plus or minus (más o menos), to to make it through one six hour shift at Don's Digital Café.
